Hi! I’m Heath, aka DJ AMPt, AMPt stands for Audio, Media, Production, and Technology. I have been a music teacher for the last 28 years. The last 10 of those years has been in a music production lab where I teach students the fundamentals of creating, recording, and mixing music using technology.

As my wife and I transition to the life of empty nesters and I no longer have my days filled with baseball practices, band rehearsals, and being the primary Uber for all of my kids’ activities, I decided to take my life-long passion for music and technology and turn it into DJ AMPt!

I am familiar with virtually all genres from the past 50 years including Pop, Rock, Hip Hop, R&B, Oldies, Country, Reggaeton, Electro, EDM, and more. I also have extensive experience as a public speaker and will be the MC to keep the crowd engaged and the party going!

I love music, people, and good times! I believe that music is essential to being human. So many of our most lasting memories are attached to a song. Let me use my diverse musical background to create the perfect set list to make your event unforgettable!
